EU Aid Volunteers is a European Union initiative<\/span> which provides opportunities to EU citizens and long-term residents in EU Member States from a wide range of backgrounds and professional experience to get involved in humanitarian aid projects<\/span>. In addition, it supports the provision of needs-based humanitarian aid<\/span> in third countries and engages in volunteering opportunities through deployment and online volunteering.<\/p>\n

Movement for Peace<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Movement for Peace –<\/strong>MPDL–<\/strong> is a non–<\/strong>religious and non–<\/strong>profit organisation founded in 1983 with headquarters in Madrid. We aim to promote peace, equality and human rights through our delegations in Spain<\/a> and in 11 countries and territories<\/a>: Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Cuba, Morocco, Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf, Mali, Niger, occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Jordan.<\/p>\n

Human Rights, Gender, Migration, International Protection and Education for Peace are the main areas of our projects and actions both in Spain within the social action and internationally within the development and humanitarian aid fields<\/strong>, with more than 705.800 beneficiaries yearly.<\/p>\n

Since our foundation, volunteers support most of our projects in Spain, and we are promoting volunteering in the field since 2012. We hold the Presidency of the European network of civil society organisations Solidar<\/a> and the Vice-Presidency of the Spanish Volunteering Platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n
